You must hold a current TQI registration or an approved Permit to Teach to teach in an ACT school.
To maintain your registration, you must:
- hold a current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
- comply with the TQI Code of Professional Practice and Conduct
- complete and record at least 20 hours of professional learning each year
- keep your contact and employment details up to date in the TQI Portal
- renew your registration each year by 31 March, including payment of the renewal fee
- notify TQI of any matter that may affect your registration, including changes to your WWVP registration
- if you hold Provisional Registration, progress to Full Registration within five years
- if you hold Full Registration, meet the Recency of Practice requirements.
