Does TQI Owe You Money? Check Now!
Got $5-$30 sitting in TQI's account with your name on it? You might if you held ACT teacher registration between January 2019 and April 2024.
A legislative review uncovered that registration fees were incorrectly charged $5 above the legal amount each year during this period. Thousands of teachers are owed refunds, with amounts varying based on how many years they were registered.
The good news: Most current teachers already had refunds applied to their 2025 renewal fees.
The catch: TQI is still hunting for former teachers, interstate movers, and career changers who haven't claimed their money yet.
Getting your refund is simple:
1.Reset your TQI Portal password using your TQI ID
2.Log in and click the green 'Claim your refund' button
3.Submit your bank details
4.Wait up to two weeks for direct deposit
Spread the word: Know any ex-ACT teachers who might have moved on? Send them this way.
TQI is running email, SMS, and social media campaigns to reach everyone owed refunds. Don't let yours gather digital dust.
