As Natalie Howson concludes her tenure as Chair of the ACT Teacher Quality Institute Board, we extend our sincere gratitude for her outstanding leadership, dedication and service.
Throughout her time as Chair, Natalie has provided thoughtful stewardship, strategic insight and an unwavering commitment to strengthening teacher quality and professional standards in the ACT. Her leadership has helped guide the Institute through a period of growth and change, ensuring that TQI remains focused on supporting a highly qualified, professional and trusted teaching workforce.
Natalie has fostered a culture of collaboration and integrity, bringing together Board members, stakeholders and the broader education community in pursuit of excellence for teachers and students alike. Her contribution has left a lasting legacy that will continue to benefit the profession and the ACT community for years to come.

TQI welcomes Dr Phil Lambert as new TQI Board Chair
The ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Phil Lambert PSM as the new Chair of the TQI Board.
Dr Lambert brings extensive national and international experience in education policy, curriculum development, leadership and system reform. An internationally recognised education expert, he has held senior leadership positions across the education sector, including serving as General Manager of the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA), where he led the development of Australia's first national curriculum. He has also worked extensively with governments, education systems and international organisations including the OECD, UNESCO and the World Bank.
