Congratulations to the HALT Network!

Best attendance and HALT engagement in over 4 years (not counting covid!)

An energetic group of Highly Accomplished and Lead teachers from across the sector spectrum (Charlotte, Mali, Eugene, Jason, Kristy and John) pulled out all stops this year to get the HALT Network running as the inspirational collaborative entity it always promised to be.

At the most recent meeting in Week 4 this small posse of teachers attracted an enthusiastic group of HALTs who all committed to the support of the following project work in 2026:

The network decided to leap right into post-pandemic mode and make the Network meeting a virtual one- it made a huge difference in attendance.

If you are a HALT and missed this event, just keep an eye on the TQI portal, social media and emails for the 2026 meeting dates and TEAMs meeting links.

The events above provide great opportunities for HALTs to support the teaching profession, promote HALT uptake and give you personally valuable occasions to evidence your continued HALT engagement and colleague support when you have HALT Renewal on the horizon.

And if you would like to know more about the four projects listed above, and how your HALT achievements may fit the bill for the line-ups, please email Jane or Kelly at tqi@act.gov.au and we’ll forward your enquiry to the Network.

A huge thank you also to HALTs Megan, Mali, Susan and Jason who presented to the Masters Intensive at UC during stand-down with Dr Ruth Winfield. Another opportunity for HALTs to share their wisdom and insights if you’re interested in the 2026 UC call-out. Again, contact Jane or Kelly tqi@act.gov.au if this work is of interest.
