How much does teacher registration cost?

The TQI registration year starts on 1 April and ends on 31 March. All registrations are valid to 31 March.

The tax deductible application fee is payable at the time of application and then each year when you apply to renew. The fee for new applications changes depending when you apply.

An increase in application fees was determined in the 2015-16 ACT Government Budget. The 2017 increase takes effect from 1 January 2017. Annual fees from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2019 are shown below.

The 2017 registration renewal application fee is $105, payable after a renewal application is submitted.

Payment information

  • Your application will not be processed until the application fee has been paid and processed by TQI.
  • You can pay the application fee online by credit card (Visa or Mastercard), direct debit or cheque at the end of the online application process.
  • If your application is unsuccessful the fee will be refunded.
